TekPro is searching for a Precision Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Engineer to champion quality at a well-established aerospace components site in Elk Grove Village, Illinois . If you thrive on data, discipline, and collaboration, read on.

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000, based on experience

What challenges will you tackle?

• How would you design a quality system that keeps pace with high-precision aerospace parts? You’ll architect and maintain the framework that makes it happen.
• When a nonconformance hits, what’s your method? Lead root cause analysis and lock in corrective and preventive actions that stick.
• Can you navigate audits with confidence? You’ll support customer and regulatory audits and ensure alignment with aerospace standards.
• Do you trust the data? You’ll analyze trends and metrics to pinpoint opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• What does great teamwork look like? You’ll partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to sustain product conformance.
• How do you prove it works? Build inspection plans, own documentation, and guide process validation.

What sets you up for success

• BS in Engineering or related technical area
• 3+ years in manufacturing quality engineering
• Experience with aerospace components or in other highly regulated sectors (preferred)
• Mastery of quality systems, root cause tools, and CI methodologies
• Comfort with inspection processes, documentation standards, and quality metrics
