MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Database Analyst IV located in Madison, WI. Our client is a government agency looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.
Interview Process: Microsoft Teams, camera on, Duration: 30 minutes
Onsite or Remote? Remote - Candidate must be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. This role can work 100% remote from within the state of WI.
Additional details: May be some flex hours outside of normal 8-5pm related to maintenance processes.
Job Description:
Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience:
-Minimum 3 years in depth technical and functional knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning
-Minimum 2 years experience using multiple methods and technologies with RMAN, and Data Guard required.
-Minimum 3 years experience performing detailed, highly technical root cause analysis of Oracle database systems.
-Minimum 2 years experience with ability to create scripts to automate processes in the Oracle database environments
Nice to Have:
-Excellent oral and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings; writes clearly and informatively; varies writing styles to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively.
-Experience in Higher Education - Highly complex environment, with diverse stakeholders.
