Job Description

The Opportunity : PLA School Custodians are responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the school building. Ensuring that the building is always kept clean, sanitized, and well-maintained in support of the success and pride of our scholars and our school staff. 

The Details

Key Deliverables:

• Maintains cleaning schedules that are set up by school leadership/Ops leadership
• Empty trash bins regularly
• Maintain all forms of safety in and around the school
• Re-stock material
• Makes sure assigned cleaning tasks are executed in a timely and orderly manner
• Submits reports to the supervisor concerning repairs that must be made

 

Experience and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working in a school environment
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
