Job Description

Salary: $160,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field; Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of power plant systems, including engineering principles associated with plant design, operation, and equipment reliability.
• Extensive familiarity with applicable codes, standards, plant-specific procedures, and regulatory guidelines for nuclear power plant design and operation.
• Proficient in planning, scheduling, and cost management related to engineering tasks and outage support.
• Proven experience in providing technical leadership and oversight of engineering teams.

• Lead and supervise the Plant Support Engineering team, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and promoting safe, dependable operations.
• Organize and oversee System Health Team activities, focusing on identification, prioritization, and resolution of system and equipment performance challenges.
• Represent Plant Support Engineering in outage management teams and cross-departmental plant discussions.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess plant systems to drive both short- and long-term performance enhancements.
• Create and manage corrective and improvement action plans, ensuring timely execution and effective resolution of plant performance concerns.
• Direct and prioritize daily operational tasks of team members to fulfill plant, outage, and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocations, including on-call support, outage coverage, and specific project requirements.
• Carry out performance management functions for team members, encompassing goal-setting, performance evaluations, coaching, and remuneration actions.
• Plan and manage large or complex engineering tasks, project teams, and interdisciplinary special projects.
• Review and approve engineering outputs and work results from the group to ensure quality standards are met.
• Oversee the allocated budget and resource use, ensuring engineering projects are completed efficiently and align with departmental and site objectives.
