We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of building systems and facility services within a professional commercial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring all aspects of facility operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining a high level of service for occupants and stakeholders.
The Facilities Manager serves as the primary point of contact for facility operations and is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, vendor services, and tenant or occupant needs. This includes overseeing building technicians, contractors, and service providers to ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget. The role also includes ensuring compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
This position supports the development and execution of short- and long-term facility goals, including maintenance planning, capital improvement recommendations, and operational budgeting. The Facilities Manager is expected to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance overall building performance through effective planning and process improvement.
Daily responsibilities include managing work orders, conducting facility inspections, reviewing system performance, and ensuring all maintenance and repair activities are properly documented. The role also involves preparing reports, tracking budgets and forecasts, and providing variance analysis on operating expenses. Strong communication is required to maintain positive working relationships w ith occupants, leadership teams, and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing facility operations, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to ensure a high standard of facility performance and customer satisfaction.
