Desktop Support Analyst – Consultant 📍 Kansas City, MO | Full-Time | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid (after onboarding)

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 end-user support across Windows, MacOS, laptops, PC hardware, Office 365, VMware VDI, Active Directory, SCCM, MFPs, and productivity tools (Adobe, Webex, Slack)
• Support users via phone, email, in-person, and chat; document all activity in Jira Service Desk
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 and cross-functional teams as needed
• Deliver onboarding support — equipment setup, login assistance, and new user orientation
• Perform ongoing maintenance including software licensing, endpoint vulnerability management, and asset recycling
• Handle all user information with strict confidentiality; report any misuse immediately

Required

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

• Formal training or equivalent hands-on experience in a desktop support role

Details Schedule: M–F, 8am–5pm Start: Mid-April | Location: On-site to start, transitioning to hybrid
